My Story

Tell me if this sounds familiar…

On the outside, I appeared to be a successful professional, driven, health conscientious,  and fun.  I was playing the part of a life I was only wishing I could have.

Other people would comment about how healthy I was as they watched me turn down office pizza for lunch for salad instead, but as soon as I got home, I would eat and drink until I could no longer feel the effects, good or bad, of my day.  I found myself in a vicious cycle of attempting to keep my “healthy” persona, but going home to binge to numb my feelings, and then using exercise to punish myself for being “bad”.

I was embarrassed because I felt like I was the only person in the world struggling with finding balance and peace within my busy life.  But, we are not alone.  In a recent study of healthcare professionals, 76% reported they don’t perform any exercise on a consistent basis, 72% working more than 48 hours per week, and over 50% got less than 7 hours of sleep per day.

It took coming face to face with my personal dissatisfaction for me to start the journey that changed my life.

I took time to look honestly at my life and create the depth that I'd feared I was missing. I learned to love myself and that has spread from the inside out.

While my circumstances are now very similar to  the beginning of my journey, everything inside me has changed. Having learned that outside circumstances don't define who I am, or determine my value as a person, I am at peace with who I am and excited to be the woman I am becoming.

I finally found the strength and willingness to ask for help. From that, I have found the answers I'd been searching for all along.

I want you to feel at peace. I want you to love who you are. I wish for you to be fearless in pursuit of your dreams.

I've dedicated my life to helping health care professionals to keep their own cups full so that they can have more life, more energy, to care for others.

I do this work through 1:1 coaching, online course, workshops and speaking engagements.
